My submission for NATG VIII: Day 14!

Today's theme was "Draw a pony crossing over with your favorite game, book, ect / Draw a pony putting on a show." I wasn't initial sure what I wanted to do for this prompt, but eventually I settled on something Spyro, thought I wasn't sure what exactly to draw. kiikrindar then gave the tried and true suggestion of Spyro and Spike, which I thought was good because it was something simple and basic, which I really needed being pressed for time once again. But I also realised I don't think I'd ever drawn Spike before ... so here's my go at drawing him!

And, of course, my attempt at drawing Spyro himself I was super worried that drawing him was going to come out horribly, but thankfully I think I did an okay job. I did find a reference somewhere of a cartoonised Spyro with a pose close to what I wanted, so that certainly helped a lot, but there was still a lot to mess up, haha. Though, as a result of pressed time, my lining is a bit more messy than I would have liked, but that happens.
No time for any shading this time, though. Admittedly, for the cartoonised Spyro drawing, this makes him look a little funky, because he usually has some texturedness to him, and shading just make sense for when trying to draw a 2D version of a 3D character, but could be a whole lot worse.
