Dash! Zoom! Zipp!

My submission for NATG XII, Day 16: "Draw different pony generations meeting each other / Draw a pony exploring a brand new world." With, yes, obviously I was going to draw Dash and Zipp I should really draw some of the other G5 ponies at some point xD I have already drawn Zipp before But I wanted to draw Dash and Zipp flying together for this one, so I did! I think it's no secret Zipp is my favourite character from G5, and I love the focus she's been getting and got in the Make Your Mark special. She's absolutely her own character, but it's hard not to see some Dash spirit within her. So I like the idea she's perhaps inspired by her. Especially as we see her seemingly look up to the Wonderbolts in the A New Generation movie. Plus her natural draw to flying, even when she couldn't properly fly for most her life. Some instincts and aspirations make it across generations, I suppose!

Wasn't sure I'd finish this one in time, honestly, since I had to draw two full characters flying ... glad I didn't have to draw their cutie marks in the end xD But I managed to cut the right corners to get it done. That is to say, I barely drew two characters at all ... as in, uh, don't look or stare too closely, the line work is definitely not largely copied between them xD I would not have got it done otherwise, so it had to be done There's enough different that I don't think it matters too much, though. Also needa' keep in mind my energy levels and all that. Also meant I didn't have any time or energy for shading, which can look pretty cool in a flight shot, since you're right up by the sun. But I think it's fine without it. It's probably just so bright that it illuminates them fully or something
