Description **Might take a moment to load...it's HUGE!**

Ok! I actually remembered to take screenshots of something, huzzah! So here's the first installment of my start-to-finish walkthrough of the "Stride For Stride" picture seen here: [link]

The pics are 75% their regular size, but I think they're still pretty sharp. I thought I'd save you all the horror of loading something that big, even though this pup is STILL friggin enormous. O_O Sorry if it gives anyone any trouble.

I forgot to mention in the image, but for the lineart I'm using "oils" and specifically the "detail oils brush 10" sized down to 1.5, in Corel Painter 8. Silly me not mentioning the most obvious things, haha.

Anyway, I'll upload the next part soon.

Oh, and sorry if there are any typos. I read it three times over, but I probably missed something anyway.

Oh wow! I always find it facinating to see how other artists go through their process of creation. You pretty much do what I do, except everything of mine is hand-drawn on paper first. I do a rough sketch, use a piece of tracing paper to clean it up (cuz I messy ), and transfer it into my sketchpad via lightbox.

When I get my tablet (finally), I'm definitely going to give this a try!

Ooo, lightbox!!! I always wanted one of those! If I ever did a transfer I was just stuck with using a window on a sunny day. haha.

I know what you mean! I really like seeing WIPs, too.

I bought one at Michael's for about $30, and it's come in handy SO many times. Mines relatively small compared to some of the ones I've seen, and it's not nearly as high-tech or flashy. ^_^ If you ever get a chance to get one, don't get the glass ones. Not only are they expensive, they break. Mine is cheap and plastic, but it does its job well.

Whoa! thats so big!
When you do the backer horse do you have to set it as behind previous layer or something so it doesnt show up in the front horses lineart?
