Expecto Patronum! Not really, but that's what I was reminded of as soon as I finished
Further cosmic meanderings in my "Intergalactic" series, and by series I mean there is currently one other
I happened to see a vaguely mythological deer spirit in this one. It's actually a couple of months old, I just could not for the life of me get a good reproduction. But I just recently acquired a new scanner that's a massive improvement (on shit), so yay!
Hope you like it

Hey! It's all either acrylic or watercolour paint, with some small detailing done with white ink

Of course, I have given you credit and linked to your page. If for any reason you don't want it published any longer, just send me a message and I'll delete it pronto. Thanks, and congratulations! Your art is beautiful. Please note: If you don't see your art right away on my blog, it is probably still in the queue and has yet to be posted.

Beautiful colors and well worked details... The details at the bottom create a very nice effect.
I also like the eye... if that's what the big white thing is supposed to be

It does look like a patronus; I thought it was a hummingbird at first

Thanks! It seems to me to be some kind of mixture between bird and deer.. I should work that idea out more clearly in another painting

I was reminded of a patronus, too but a more birish one... with ears. Anyway it's sweet and bright and great

This is such an awesome surreal painting. I like the details that went into this, especially the colors, of course.

Thanks very much! I think there is a whole world of these "Intergalacti Essences" to uncover

I love this, and the process behind it sounds really fun too. You've given a whole, unplanned shape a personality, and it almost glows off the background. Really great stuff.
