Description
This is a 14-day-old African Elephant cavorting in the elephant yard on her first day out at the Indianapolis Zoo. She had a ball splashing in this mud puddle, but it proved much harder to get out of than to get into. She slipped and slid several times before finally climbing her way out. Here she’s looking a little panicky, but once she got out and ran to Mamma, she was just fine again.
