Thank you so much, it was surprising how those 4 tiny lines really made the image look better (bigged up anyhow, they are lost in the thumb).

Hi dude!!! Thank you so much. It was dA messing about that forced me to stop visiting for a while. Every page was an error, I couldn't view work and I couldn't write comments without about 3-5 page errors with each seperate thing. It became totally infuriating. I seem to have found an 'optimal' time during the day to both view and leave comments now, so I will work my way (slowly) back through everything I've missed I hate missing things, I'm like child about it!!

Thank you. I set out to try and do something a little different, trying to use the same image to create different elements and it worked out better than I hoped it would!

Hi, thank you for your input. A tad glare-y has become a bit of a trademark for me I particularly liked it in this image as it suits my stupid sense of humour. When I think of Alchemy I think of the attempts to turn a base metal into gold, or hair dye, changing from a dark colour to the gold of blonde (I always go a brassy, strawberry blonde). So the image is supposed to have a slight brassy fake look to it. I'm also in love with light and like things to have 'burned out spots' where brightness and glare is obvious and yet have deep hidden shadows within the same image. It makes me think of space (as in beyond the planetary atmosphere). I have a fantastic book called Mass by John Harris. I love his space scapes, often images of huge space ships being constructed in space. Massive contrast between sunlight and shadow. I can't find the particular images I'm thinking of but google turned up a few of his

Good to know. I love space - I love to go to NASA's sight and check out the Hubble images gallery. Try as we might, we're never gonna create anything as beautiful - ever.

I love Hubble, I hope the new space telescope planned produces even more lovely pictures. I've been following the Cassini/Huygens mission too (waiting 7 years for the spacecraft to get there), so many wonderful objects in our solar system

Very nice! Stare at the black hole on the right and there's an optical illusion created. The black appears to grow a bit and then start all over. At least it does for me. I like anything that messes with my eyes!
