This connection is through an amulet that gives him various hellish powers and powers in dark and chaotic magic.

CONS: Through his training in fighting he has become a serial killer and addicted to his killing.

PROS: Glowing with his power, Blaze's dark energy is channeled into a blast that causes massive chaos and destruction on a large scale to everything in sight around him.
CONS: He must be in tune with his inner darkness to use this and wearing the amulet. It only destroys what he sees in his range of vision.
POWER/ABILITY 20: Deathly Aura
PROS: The dark aura of the amulet and Blaze's darkness surrounds and swirls around Blaze to decay and destroy everything around him, threatening to kill and destroy anyone and anything it touches.
CONS: It can be stopped by making Blaze feel love or see the good that can overpower his darkness.
POWER/ABILITY 21: Touch of Death
PROS: He glows with darkness that takes on the shape of a hand of death energy that steals away the souls of those he kills into the amulet, empowering it with the energy.
CONS: This only works while he is wearing the amulet and while Blaze is one with Set. He can only take the souls of those whom Set deems to deserve death from his judgement of them.
POWER/ABILITY 22: Possession/Channeling Set
PROS: Through the amulet Blaze can be possessed by the God as well as channel him to take over Blaze's body when he wills it after making a deal with Set. The God of Chaos taking control of Blaze's body is free to wreak havoc but with their mutual understanding he will act in Blaze's interests and help out his human vessel when needed.
CONS: This must be done with the amulet as it stabelizes the connection between Blaze and Set. Set can only take control when Blaze is at his darkest and most vulnerable or when Blaze allows Set to control his body. It is hard for Blaze to control the God and he has little memory of what Set does through him.

Style: He is swift, deadly and ruthless in his fighting and killing. He will make the kill last as long as possibly, prolonging it for ultimate satisfaction.

Background:
Born to Rameses the Pharaoh of Egypt and Shani the daughter of the legendary Merlin and Star Light. He was raised as the crown prince of Egypt and in line to succeed the throne. When he was four his mother was banished and his father began to abuse him. He shunned his studies and didn't wish to become the next Pharaoh. While ignoring his lessons one day he came across some catacombs where he uncovered the Amulet of Set. The amulet held great power and as it accepted him as its new bearer of its immense power. When he was nine he stopped his father from killing his younger brother and was punished for it. The two of them ran away from the palace that night and he took on the name Blaze. They were found by the leader of the Serpents, a group based in Egypt that helped to fight against injustice. Blaze learned how to fight there and was given his knives by Drew, their leader who hoped Blaze would someday follow after him. A year later Drew died as he helped the boys escape from Egypt. In his pain and dark emotions Blaze activated the powers of Set's Amulet and slaughtered the men who had been sent to kill Drew. Feeling that first taste of power Blaze had began his path down a dark road and learned how to unlock the mystic powers he wielded within the amulet.
They decided to search for their mother and travelled the world to find her. As they travelled Blaze developed an urge to kill that helped him deal with his pain. As he continued to kill he became Bloodfang to protect his identity and his brother. As he enjoyed the killing and began raping woman he had the misfortune to be his victims, Blaze's demonic side began to emerge. The demonic powers inside him surfaced and merged with the darkness and power of his amulet. The only thing able to keep Blaze's darkness in check being his love for his brother. Searching for clues about their mother, they eventually ended up in Gotham where they continued their quest. Blaze set up a home for him and his brothers in the dark alleys of Gotham. While there he raped the woman Selena Kyle, also known as Catwoman. This led to the birth of his daughter who he learned of later. For the moment Blaze has settled in Gotham where he works towards his goals of searching for his mother and learning his powers to become stronger and enact his revenge on his father.

Seriously though, I really enjoyed your DC interpintation of Blaze, this makes him really feel like he is a part of the fandom naturally. And Quinn really is an excellent subsitute for Serena.
