Description
This twisted, spiraling snowflake was purely Apophysis 2.07 beta and my imagination going wild with the rendering. I really do love blue-- its shades are just so cold and icy that it appeals to my frozen soul so very much. LoL, so emo... but I love winter.Featured here: [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] .

Thank you so much! I'm glad you caught it right away. Perhaps you can visit a place one day where it snows and get a feel for it. It's really awesome.

yeah, i know... i lived on a much colder place when i was a child and i loved snow... but in our part of germany, it mostly often snows twice or thrice a year and even then it's just a little bit...
now that i've looked on your pic i'm missing snow so much Oo

Ah I see. Perhaps travelling a bit north sometime might help. Hope you get a chance!

I like how its spiralling away and dissolving... Makes me think of a fir tree with snow on its branches that is getting chopped down. It's very pretty! (all fractal works I've seen so far are )

Hehe, thank you so much for the insight. It does look like a chopped down fir tree with snow, now that I think about it. I didn't intend it to but I guess that works too! I love multiple meanings behind art-- it's so awesome. And yes, of course, fractals are truly amazing!

Me too, it's amazing how differently people interpret images, especially in more abstract works!

It almost looks like a flurry, especially with the sort of particles sweeping around the edges. The cool shades really suit the theme for this one.

Hehe, thanks! I kept the design that way on purpose so it looked like it was gaining speed, and of course I couldn't resist the blend of blue shades. Oh, and thank you so much for the !

Wonder if it's gonna be cold just like the real? Or if it's gonna be crunchy and crispy in your hand? If I break the flake, is it gonna feel like breaking a piece of snowy ice?
This piece makes me wonder...
