Looks like he is trying to communicate with the viewer telepathically. some doggies are good & gettingΒ their message across without making a sound. You did great, those eyes are wonderfully expressive.

You are right Jenna is a terrific communicator without words. Weird thing about this painting
is her face follows you not just the eyes when you go back and forth or up and down past the painting.
Didn't realize that until the person it was painted for pointed it out.
