I love the water. You've capture the light and ripples so well.

I like way you painted the tree.
This reminds me when we went fishing. The best spots were often close to a dead tree.

Thanks so much Evey!
It was great fun painting.I'm apparently not
following the rules of watercolors.I'm not sketching anything out on the paper
just blocking in some colors and then moving the paint around with a wet brush
to get the picture I want.Had to challenge the "rules" and see what I could come up with.
It was a blast moving the paint around.Even after it dried,I could just wet the end of the brush and move the paint again to change something if I didn't quite like the way it looked.A few people who were taking watercolor classes and came into the shop to see what I was doing and said that wasn't what they were being taught.I'm so glad I never took any art classes, more fun figuring out what the paint will and won't do myself

Your welcome Deb. I loved my art teacher in high school, she would give us advice but challenge us to figure out our own way and technique. When I started art in junior college the instructor and I had words over the fact that I was doing things the way I was comfortable. I made it three semesters then quit.
