impressive w/c no idea how you did it, but it looks like an oil or acrylic painting. Interesting use of the medium.

playing outside the box and rules with paint and black paper
It's done on black pastel/charcoal paper.I painted on the colors and moved them around with water on a shader brush.After it dried I added more layers of the brighter colors so they would stand out.Started out just playing with color and water on the black paper as an experiment and I liked the effect so kept at it.

nice, I will have to try playing with some of my toned paper, I am often shy of using wc for those papers. but you can't argue the results

I hope you will post them when you do.I'm having fun experimenting
and seeing what the paint can do on different paper.
I decided not to worry if they didn't work out just start another
if I didn't like the results,instead of stressing about each painting.
So much more fun than following the traditional rules.
