Description
Let the geekiness continue!I'm taking geekiness to new dimensions, aren't I?
So I was a bit bored last night and started watching "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" and my friend came over. When the latter episode came to a finish the forementioned friend said it'd be cool to have a notebook that resembled the TARDIS, and I of course agreed. And huzzah! Here's what that little bit of chat produced.
The notebook is A5 with 60 pages (Well, 120 if you count both sides of the pages, but that's just me trying to make it sound grander than it is). Materials include paper (made to look older with tea), cardboard, acrylic paints, basic things needed for bookbinding, lots of glue and luck.
I tried to make it durable, and definitely not as disheveled as the one seen on screen
I plan on painting in more detail, but first I need to make a trip down to the shops...
Anyways, hope this amuses someone

I'm beginning to realize this! Though it is not MY fault there's a place called Blue Box Pass where we drive through on the way south through the mountains...*cough*

This is awesome... There's someone who makes them out of leather or something.. but they charge an arm and a leg for it. So kudos to you for making your own!

Thanks! I've got a faux leather one, but it isn't completely finished... which reminds me I should try to get it done at some point.

Thanks, I don't have the time to write a tutorial at the moment, but I'll try to get it done some time, because so many people have asked me to. Just need to get the time and inspiration to do another one, and it takes up a good chunk of time... but yeah, maybe at some point. Don't know how helpful it'll end up being though

Thank you! I'm making a slightly altered version, well, a lot altered version right now. I just started cutting the pieces for the covers. I think I'll make it a slip-on cover, so you can use it as a kind of a folder, and switch in a new notebook when the old one is full... Hmm, well, I'll see if it amounts to anything usable.

I want to eat it! It will surely taste like blueberries. . .
Anyway.
Great job! And the paper looks edible as well! I wonder how it would taste deep fried? Although, consuming this wonderful contraption may offend the Doctor.
