A little painting that came to mind when I came to realize what today was. I took some time earlier today to collect a handful of pie images and I managed to do a brief "study" of one of them. This was also a blind attempt at doing some grayscale-to-color painting and practice using the airbrush tool for shading and highlighting - I typically use a somewhat soft custom brush instead of airbrushes.

It's not exactly what I would call a great outcome, but once again, I'm pleased to be able to start and finish a painting project in a quick manner. I definitely need to set aside more time to do object paintings like this one to experiment and practice. Hopefully, my efforts to change my daily schedule and routine will free up more practice time, too!
