How do you cut them so that they're perfect slices? Mine always get blurred when I cut them, even when I put them in the freezer.

You can cut canes after baking if you bake them for a short amount of time, I've cut them and kept being able to even after cooling by only baking them 1/3 of the time in the directions on the clay.

I freeze them for a few hours and use a really sharp knife or I cook them and then cut them right away while they're still hot and pliable but you have to be careful not to burn yourself lol.

I KNEW THERE WERE EASIER WAYS TO TO THIS! fanky spanks! some of these machines...well...all of them, I don't have, but it's ok! I can roll them out myself...actual am going to look into a pasta machine...Anyway, rambling. Again, thanks for proving me right! There's a simpler way to do this!

Well when I bought it there was a sale on so it was 1 dollar apiece so I got almost 120 bars of different colours.
I'm making a whole bunch of new things right now because I ordred some dollhouse dishes today to use in my work.

Quick question. When you cut the slices of kiwi from the cane how do you prevent the clay from squashing together and blurring?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
skookyspry In reply to Cinnamonster [2008-07-27 04:20:15 +0000 UTC]
I usually put it in the fridge for awhile so it can harden and then use a really sharp knife to cut it.
