Another piece with the more realistic body proportions.(Much attention was given to the hip-to-bust ratio between the two of them. Because reasons.
)My headcanon sees Sunset as the more athletic of the two, and into working out for practical, sporting reasons. Whereas Adagio stays fit just to keep the body fat ratio down and maintain that tight hourglass. I also see her has a couple of inches taller than Sunset, who's standing on her toes here, versus Adagio's flat feet.
No scene background this time. Keeping it simple with a few quick colors from my drawing tablet.

I love these proportions, sometimes the EG ones can make the characters look so silly.
Just a shame it makes the hair look proportionally smaller

I usually watch the picture first and then read the description; at first I thought "there is something odd, are those bodies a little bit more realistic?" and then I read the description.
It's difficut to look at them with real bodies at first, but an awesome job.

Anyway, great art as usual, congrats.
I wonder what completely realistic Equestria Girls would look like (no I don't mean the live action music promos), I mean like, by an artist. Like the faces, for example. In your picture the bodies look more human, realistic, but the faces are still cartoony with cartoony eyes and noses and mouths, anime style almost.Β
I guess if some one draws them very realistically they would loose a certain charm.Β

That's what I was going for, yeah - trying to get away from the bobbleheads. Seems it is catching a lot of folks though. Could be because I went only half-way between show size and actual human size relative to the bodies.

Understandable, yeah. Mind gets accustomed to things. But for me, them Dagi-hips make the picture, heh. And it's interesting that it was Adagio that struck you more than Sunset, since her torso-length to leg-length ratio (and the smaller chest) is closer to the actual canon proportions than Sunset's. Must just be the wider hips.

I think I got too used to the equestria-girls body proportions. Their heads seem soo small compared to their hair and bodies...
Strangely enough, if I zoom in and only look at their upper halves, they seem ok, if I look at the full picture, it looks weird... The mind sure has way to screw with how we see the world...
Still, perception shenanigans aside, it's pretty good. Just like all you make.
