This is the first in a series of my alternate take on the musical side of the "EQG-6".

What I'm going for is the Mane-5 on the Canterlot High side of the mirror, plus Sunset instead of Twi (who's busy doing princessey things on the other side of the mirror, natrually ). And SS needs more <3 anyway. I love her character development in the recent clips with the reformed/kind-hearted angle.

Rather than glittery rockers, the idea here is a few stringed instruments with some percussion and a bit of electronic accompaniment.

Think Lindsey Sterling, or something by Bond, like www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRfy-V… (thanks to templar for reminding me about them in the comments, as their stuff really fits with my concept here). youtu.be/Otvj9heLdcM is another by Bond that's more electronic-heavy.

Update Oct20 - At 3/6 now, so I figure I'll reveal the rest of what I have in mind for the instruments.

Part 5: Pinkie, Percussion any/every-thing ( next up )
Part 6: Dash, Electronic accompaniment/mixing/etc - the wildcard to open up a lot of possibilities

As an aside - if anyone viewing this produces digital music, I'd love to see this concept extended into some actual songs, and may try to create a few myself. The specific instruments involved will be noted with each character as I get them completed, but goal is a fusion of strings and some other more modern sounds.
