Description Was not very satisfied with my first try, few months later and more studying and I attempted his face again. He's a very tricky man, but I'm working at it.
Critique would be very appreciated!

When the artistic progress is just right

Your painting of skin tones has drastically improved from the last face study of the nosey boi, you've got a much more natural looking flow to your colours now. Over all Nestorious looks more lifelike, there's a healthier look to his skin. I just realized you added some stubble to his chin/cheeks, I can't recall if that's something we discussed (I feel like we had a discussion about men's skin...), I like this addition though. Again, adds that sense of life to the character, especially since so many people have a habit of drawing men without any indication of facial hair.

I feel like his nose has changed shape a bit, but perhaps that's just because his facial structure has been tweaked?

Something about the side profile is throwing me off but I am not entirely sure I can pinpoint what it is...maybe his hair line is too high?

I'm eager to see more of Nestorious with your current painting style, particularly with more expressions and interactions.

I agree the hairline is a bit too high, I wanted to imply a receding hairline but it didn't work the way I had hoped, I can't wait to paint him more as well, and just paint more of my character's faces in general, Thank you!

Nice work! My only criticism would be his nose looks too big and cartoonish in comparison to his more realistically proportioned face...

You're right. I've learned to render, and learn to paint realistically, but my stylizing needs work, which I will focus on.

Thank you very much! Turnarounds are hard to do, but you learn so much from them, I highly recommend it.
