Still alive bois. College is fun, don't have the time rn to be making more complex pieces unfortunately, I hope you enjoy!btw in the speed paint, there is a bit of a continuity jump, with how his shoulders look at the end, that's because I did a lot of post-corrections and got a lot of critiques, but I couldn't edit that in properly, sorry guys!

Comparing this piece to the older version you've got a much firmer grasp on Milo's anatomy, he had been extremely neutral and blank looking before but you've developed him so much since then and you've managed to find ways to express that subtle emotion that he has. Particularly in the eyes, I know I've said it before but damn are those eyes intense!
It's wonderful to see you pushing for different and more interesting perspectives in your character portraits too. Normally I'd suggest not cutting off the top of Milo's head, but in this case I feel the placement works and helps give the viewer a better feel for his size. Milo is a massive being, and it's hard to convey that without the use of props or other characters for reference. However, I feel like the angle and perspective for this piece help show Milo's size to the viewer.
The movement in this piece feel so much more natural, the flow of his hair and the bubbles in the water really show the movement of the water even if Milo himself is still. It just reads so much better by comparison of the older piece.
The water reflections look much more natural as well. The improvement is spectacular.
