Ace’s hair ended up a little too dark and flat in the bottom right…but we all have those days.

Night Child is about a group of demon bounty hunters, and was first created in spring of 2008, my junior year of high school. The original 30 page comic was created for an art/media class assignment. The comic ended on a cliff-hanger, and there have been several occasions where I’ve considered drawing up the missing half: mostly to have a complete story, partly to show how much I’ve improved as an artist/writer over two years. So far, I have a grand total of this cover/chapter breaker and two whole pages that don’t correspond to each other. Maybe some day I’ll come back to the one that started it all, but NC has grown up a lot since 2008—and despite all of the concept art/strips/panels/whatever I post for it here, I like telling the main stories in writing. No plans to publish it or anything at the moment, I'm just doing it for fun and to improve my skillz. If you wish to see more Night Child art, you can find the folder in my gallery. ^_^
