I'll tell you how I ended up being the Santa in midair!"

This year, Santa has chosen a different sleigh… and it's a very refreshing one!

This was meant as a small joke, merging the iconic pose from Dr. Strangelove with an (unlabeled, don't want it to get any brand-issues) cola bottle that was either shaken a lot, or has gotten a certain mint flavoured candy thrown in… the nitro of cola bottles. This bundled with the lyrics of a certain sitcom (spoiler: Fresh Prince of Bel Air) made me remember the (by now dated) term "fresh", meaning as much as nice, cool, awesome – and so I badly had to combine this with a soft drink bottle! So, all these things inevitably ended up adding together, and, coincidentally, this is now my (hopefully amusing) submission for the #DAHolidayCardProject2021 and (finally) my first participation in this event!

I hope to find the time to do this more often from now on.

Speaking of time, I really hope it was still in time, I didn't want to rush it for the sake of whoever might receive it (got to do the best to my abilities). But I was (unfortunately) sick for the entire past week when I originally meant to make it, making this a little tight on time. However, once as I started to feel well again I immediately made sure to sit down to draw this!

It should be about 10:50PM at dA headquarters at the time of submission, so still within the 17th. I hope it'll be sent out to someone, and I hope this will bring a smile to this someone's face!

And if that was you, then my mission has already been successful!
