Hip replacement as the joint was badly damaged by arthritis. 😒 Was recovering very well until I fell down the garden steps two weeks ago. Don't think I have done any serious damage but am still sore. I no longer bounce!! 😀

Not quite bouncing but much better thank you. I just have to accept that with a knee and hip replacement, I have limitations. The difficulty is that once I feel more normal again I forget to take care. Am suffering a sore knee at the moment because I tripped over a step, four weeks ago! I also have to realise that I am not as young as I was! 😏 Thanks for asking.

That's a true thing, we don't become younger. But let's make best of our golden ages!

Currently I've a pneumonia but after 2 days penicillin it's getting better now. As I said: we don't become younger and what was in the past a simple cold is now a bronchitis or pneumonia.
See you later ... some days or weeks or months ... surely somewhere along the way!

So sorry to hear about the pneumonia. Not pleasant. Sending you good wishes for a speedy recovery. Take care, keep up the fluids and keep warm. Maybe let the squirrels find their own food for a few days! 😉 For the first time this winter I became eligible for the ‘flu jab. So I had it, only to discover that it doesn’t cover the strain which is causing all the problems! I’m coughing even though I have had neither a cold or ‘flu!
Thinking your knitting skills sound as good as mine: I decided to knit a little coat when my niece was born. It was not finished for her, her brother or my first son but I did finish it for my youngest son ... 12 years later!!

Now i'm fully recovered and feel very well. I never had a flu jab because I think you always get another virus than that against you are jabbed. And the jab itself causes more troumles than it helps.
Ha, the main issue is you finished your work gloriously!
And imagine: it could have been worse and finished not until the birth of your grandchildren!

Very pleased that you are fully recovered. I hope your Spring is far better than here in the UK and that you can get outside and top up with nature’s great healer: vitamin D! 
I put away my knitting needles long ago so my second grandchild due in a few weeks will have a lucky escape!!

How does your grandchild do?
I was very lazy last months. Summer is so wonderful that I can't waste time for PC and such things! But I take many photos of cute squirrels in our garden

Our grandchild does very well thank you and, in fact, we we were blessed with a second grandchild in June. We now have one of eachm a grandson and a granddaughter! I feel the same about wasting time on the PC: summer has been so wonderful and who knows when the next great summer will come along. Let us enjoy it whilst it lasts! 😎

Thank you for the congrats on our second grandchild. We saw her at the weekend and she is a very happy smiley baby .. so cute. I think the summer has now passed and there is a definite autumn chill in the air and I feel so sad that the sun sets so early. Ah well, only 6 months until the Spring!!

I feel very fortunate that we found this place but, as walking was difficult at the time, sad that I didn't appreciate it fully. So, I think once I am more mobile a second visit is needed!
