At long last, I’ve drawn U-55 again! You guys finally get to see the horrible war crime child in full color - how entertaining!

Here are the notes:
-I ended up drastically modifying her outfit to reflect how she was transferred to the Imperial Japanese Navy after World War One ended. Originally, she had a uniform that was loosely based on the officers’ uniforms of the Kaiserliche Marine, just like what U-20 and U-103 have (you can see her original design here ). I decided to change it, though, so now she has something like an IJN officer’s uniform instead. Her collar tabs (and sleeve insignia, although it’s partially obscured on both arms due to the angle) indicate that she holds the rank of kaigun-shōi (海軍少尉), or ensign.
-Instead of the single Beholla pistol she had in her original design, I gave her two Lugers. She actually had two deck guns, after all, so it only seemed right that she’d have two handguns as a human; I changed the type of gun so it would match what U-20 has.
-I decided to play up her childlike aspects here in the form of cutesy socks, hair ribbons, painted nails, and scribbles on her torpedo launcher. The idea with her is that she’s very childlike, which clashes with her violent nature for an unsettling effect, so I added those elements to enhance those childish elements. The kanji character seen on the pressure-release valve and next to the trigger is 死 (shi), which means death.
-Her face is supposed to be a bit off here: she’s supposed to look crazy, as per her personality.
-I added a few extra cute/childlike elements in the form of dimples and a small gap in her front teeth.
-She’s almost out of torpedoes here; she should have six or seven, but between her cavalier attitude and love of overkill she’s used most of them up.
-Her overall color scheme uses warmer grays than U-20, whose colors are more cool-toned.
-I tried some foreshortening on her left arm (the one with the gun). It’s a technique I still struggle with, but I’m getting better!
