probarly one of the most simplest of how to make plaid. and its just the start of showing how dithering makes a big diff.

Wow. This is so awesome. And I have a thing for plaid too!

But how do you do if you want to use it for smaller areas. Like your chibi at the end?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Smrtypantz In reply to Moffs [2009-01-01 22:57:34 +0000 UTC]

gee, thanks!

in order to use it for smaller areas, i usually just shrink the plaid. a cool trick is going to Edit, scrolling down to Select All, and pressing Ctrl and holding it and then pressing that minus symbol, like this -, on your num pad on ur keyboard. it'll shrink the whole image . then i'll usually cut out a piece of the plaid with that Free Form Select symbol.

gosh, i hope that helps

Yes it helped. Thank you very much!
But how did you come up with this (the plaiding, i mean)? Pure genius!

Smrtypantz In reply to Moffs [2009-01-02 02:18:06 +0000 UTC]

i'm glad i helped! i actually based my plaid pattern on the plaid from my pajamas XD i just stared at it for a while, and finally figured out a way to do it on MS paint :3
