Alright, the one a few have been waiting for. The patterns for the male are less complicated than the female patterns. Go figure
. There is also quite a bit more explanation than before.There is a section of major differences between male and female parts (other than the obvious) that cause distinction between genders.
I hope this tutorial helps.
So...any other Anatomy tutorial suggestions that might be helpful?
Update: Wow...a DD after....6 years of posting work! Awesome! It couldn't have happened to a better piece of work. I hope it enriches the skills of any and all who use them.

Ah, thank you so much! I haven't been able to find a good tutorial on how to draw males on the internet other than the super bulky look-like-they're-high-on-steroids ones. And it would be way too awkward to ask my friend to pose for me (clothed, of course)(he's really buff).
It's interesting; I find drawing females is so much easier because, well, they're a lot curvier and I love drawing curves. When I try to draw a guy, the muscles always turn out looking like some strange growth on his arms, and he ends up more womanly than a guy should look. I really appreciate the comparisons between the two gender body builds.
So thank you. This will help immensely. ^^

Good point. You can practice by imagining a flat blanket falling on a round ball. Planning out and seeing how that blanket wraps around a ball will explain how to wrap clothes over a male and female...for the most part. Fashion and things of that sort are a different matter altogether O_O

Wow these are really simple yet very detailed tutorials for anatomy you have. I'm glad I came across these I've been working on improving proportion and alignment and found a tutorial that was also really good but it was UBER detailed and kinda complicated. It was a great tutorial but something simplified would have sufficed for me hehehe.

About the male navel vs female navel thing...did you just figure that out through observation? Because I've looked around and while it certainly holds true most of the time no one really points it out or mentions it.
