What I felt was a more fitting version of a "Gender is...Gender is not" poster I came across online. [link] (No fullsize version available, but you can buy them. I'm cheap...so yeah. Thusly, this!)Feel free to print, use, whatever you'd like, spread them everywhere!
NOTE: Thanks for all the faves & feedback, guys! I can't really keep up with it, but I know you're there!
This deviation is open to suggestion for change! Want something added?

I'm just gonna state my opinion on this, not gonna try to start a fight. But I think people can be whoever they really want to be, if it really is a phase then they'll grow out of it, let them grow out of it on their own. Don't tell them what they are doing is wrong, they could loose all their confidence if they trust you enough to tell you that they want to be different but then you tell them they are wrong. Just overall, if they want to be someone else, don't be rude to them over it. It's fine to disagree but it's not ok to make them feel guilty about it.
Once again, just gonna say not trying to start a fight with you, I just personally disagree with your opinion, and I'm fine with if you disagree with mine.

I think that it's more of a mental illness. (and yes. you're right. they don't deserve to be shamed or guilty about it) It causes delusions and people end up mutilating themselves and get shamed by others.

reason is, most of the people that say that they are another gender besides male or female or transgender are mostly teens from from the ages of 12-19. it's a teen phase. infact, it's as much as a phase as emo and otherkin.

Exactly. You can't decide either. It's male and female. You have XY then you're a male. If you have XX chromosomes them your female. If you have a mutation like XXX or XXY then this is still a male or female (XXX=Female XXY=Male) but it's a genetic mutation.

There are two things: Male and Female. This is defined by two pairs of chromosomes.
This is all determined long before birth and you can not separate from that. You're either a male or a female. Added onto that, you can have mental issues that state that you think you can be something you can never be. That does not make you that thing, it only says that you think you are.

Ah, back to the unnecessary yelling...
It hurts the people with the illness. They will, in some cases, severely harm their bodies for it to be what their brains think they "should" be. While it doesn't change their sex, it can make people think that they are something else. It's sickening...
There needs to be something that can actually help them through it or treat it rather than letting them harm themselves for it. So far all we've done is "accept" it. You don't accept mental issues, you work on fixing them.
