"Huh? Where... where am I?" Sonic slowly opened his eyes, trying to figure out where he was. After a quick rub of his eyes, Sonic discovered that around his stomach, a large bandage was wrapped, and in his hand, was an infusion. Suddenly, Tails and Knuckles entered the room, excitement on their faces to see their friend awake. "Sonic, you you're awake!" Tails said happily. "Finally, you Slowpoke. You worried us." Sonic chuckled slightly, pulling himself up into a sitting position. "Hi, guys. So… what happened? What happened to that creature?" Tails explained, "After you went down, Amy managed to kick the creature away from you. It was about to attack her as well, but me and Knuckles arrived just in time." Sonic then asked, "What about Amy?" Tails replied, "She's okay. She was by your side the whole time you were unconscious." An appreciative smile spread across Sonic's face. "Thanks, guys. You saved my life." Tails and Knuckles gave a thumbs up. Suddenly, Amy walked into the room. "Sonic, You're okay!" Amy hugged Sonic excitedly. "Good to see you too, Amy." Amy was so excited, she almost jumped on Sonic. The doctor then entered the room. "How are you feeling, Mr. Sonic?" Sonic replies, "Good, sir. Thank you." The doctor nodded, taking off his glasses and wiping them with his shirt. "Listen, Mr. Sonic. In our estimation, you will be able to return home today." Sonic was happy, muttering 'Yes!' under his breath. "But there's something I can't understand." The doctor said in a but worried tone. The doctor removed the infusion from Sonic's hand, bandaged his hand, and continued, "Your wound healed much faster than it should have been." Sonic and his friends looked at the doctor with a confused look. "What do you mean?" Sonic asked, and the doctor replied, "Two days ago, I would have said you wouldn't be able to walk anymore, but strangely, the wound healed on its own within a few hours. Something that is not possible, considering you were bitten by a creature whose size was; according to what Mr. Knuckles estimated, at least TEN FEET." Sonic looked at the bandage on his stomach, and asked, "Can we check it?" The doctor immediately replied, "Sure." The Doctor brought scissors, and cut Sonic's bandage off his stomach. Everyone looked shocked when they saw that… all that was left of the bite were some red marks. "What the—?" Tails muttered, his eyes wide. "The wound… it's completely healed."

What? What is going on here?...

A few hours later:
Sonic finally returned home, he laid down peacefully in his comfortable furry bed, not thinking about what happened. But when he rolled over to lie on his stomach, Sonic felt something strange. He was not lying in my bed, but on a pile of leaves. Sonic woke up, only to find that it was already morning, and he was inside a Wolf Den in the middle of the forest. Sonic immediately stood up and looked around, confused. Suddenly, Sonic saw the creature that bit him, staring at him from afar. The hedgehog pointed at the creature, "YOU!" he shouted. The creature ran into the fog, and Sonic decided to chase after it. Eventually, the creature lunged at Sonic out of nowhere, and began to scratch and bite him viciously. Blood spurted from Sonic's body, as he screamed. "Please… stop this madness…" The creature looked at Sonic with a cold expression with its golden eyes, glowing like the sun… before turning its attention to the trunk of the tree next to it, pulling out its sharp claws, and began digging into something. The bleeding Sonic had nothing to do but watch. The creature moved aside, revealing that it had carved a spiral. The creature then ran towards the mist, leaving Sonic to die.

"NO!" Sonic yells in hysterics, but then he finds that he's in his bed, perfectly fine. "It was just a dream… Thank Chaos." Sonic takes a few deep breaths, and goes back to sleep.
