It was another beautiful day in Planet Mobius...

Sonic the Hedgehog, the fast blue hedgehog, finally kept his promise, and went on a date with his pink best friend, Amy Rose. The weather was so pleasant when the two went for a walk around the area where they lived, holding hands and talking nonsense. After walking for a few minutes, Sonic suggested that they should go to the forest, Amy agreed with a smile. The two walked towards the forest, as the sun began to set, and the full moon began to rise. The two continued into the forest, not knowing what awaited them.

Suddenly, a strange sound echoed in the distance, it was a howl. "Did you hear that?" Amy asked in confusion. Sonic nodded and replied, "I heard that." Sonic also looked confused, he had never heard such sound before. "What do you think it was?" Amy asked, as she looked around. Sonic shrugged, and replied optimistically, "It could be a lot of things." Suddenly, another howl was heard, this time a little closer. Amy tensed a little, and her grip on Sonic's hand tightened. "I don't like this…" she said, but Sonic replied, "Don't worry, Amy. Everything will be fine. Come on, let's keep walking."

The two continued walking, not thinking about that howl. But suddenly, a noise of leaves being trampled caught the attention of the two hedgehogs. "Sonic, I think we should go back." Amy said worriedly. "Come on, Amy, where's your sense of adventure? Besides, when we're together, there's no stopping us." Sonic told her with a smile and confidence, but inside, Sonic knew something was wrong. At that moment, a deep growl echoed from the darkness surrounding Sonic and Amy. "Okay, something's sure to be in there..." Another growl echoes, causing Sonic to conclude, "It's circiling us." Sonic said, sweat on his face. "What do we do?" Amy asked. "Back to back." Sonic said, as he and Amy got into a back to back stance, ready for battle. Amy pulled out her Piko Piko hammer, a serious look on her face. "Be ready." Sonic said. "Sure." Amy replied. More growls echoed from the darkness, getting closer and closer, but the source of the growls was still nowhere to be seen. "Show yourself!" Sonic yelled at the thing. Another growl was heard... but this time more distant. Suddenly, everything went quiet. "Do you think it got scared?" Amy asked, as the two came out of the back to back position. "Maybe--" Without any warning, a huge wolf-like creature with black fur, glowing golden eyes, and razor-sharp claws and teeth, pounced on Sonic, biting him in the stomach. Sonic screamed in excruciating pain, as the creature sank its teeth into his skin, and his stomach was completely covered in blood. "SONIC!" Amy shouted frantically. Amy immediately swung her hammer and landed a direct hit on the creature's ribs, this caused it to get off Sonic. The creature quickly came to its senses and roared at Amy, as she looked at him, fury on her face. "You'll pay for it!" she yelled. The creature crouched, ready to pounce on Amy, and finish the job.

"Amy!" Someone shouted from the distance. Suddenly, a young orange fox with two tails arrived, and with it a muscular red echidna. "Tails, Knuckles!" Amy said happily. The three got into their battle stance, ready to fight. The creature realized its work was done, and ran off into the darkness. "Coward!" Knuckles yelled in rage. "Tails, Amy, take care of Sonic. I'll catch that bastard!" Knuckles then acclerated his speed, and chased the creature into the darkness. "Sonic!" Amy shouted and turned to face him. The hedgehog was lying on the ground, his body went into shock, with a huge bloody bite wound in his stomach. "Sonic!" Tails yelled. "T-Tails…? Is that… you?" Sonic asked, his vision blurry. "Don't worry, Sonic! We're here." Sonic started seeing black, and he lost consciousness.

AFTER A FEW DAYS.

"Huh? Where... where am I?" Sonic mumbled.
