2012 edit: I was thirteen when I wrote this, please excuse the obnoxious wording.
2015 edit: I would now recommend drawing the 'swoosh' hairs more carefully than 'swoosh' unless you're drawing an anime porcupine

Lovely. I never draw anything that has fur because I had no idea how to paint realistic fur in a way that is compatible with the way I paint other things... but not anymore This is going to be very, very useful.

I usually work up to about step 6 in batches and then complete the rest all together. Makes colouring it much easier.
