2012 edit: I was thirteen when I wrote this, please excuse the obnoxious wording.
2015 edit: I would now recommend drawing the 'swoosh' hairs more carefully than 'swoosh' unless you're drawing an anime porcupine

wow. the end result is so realistic! when you're doing a whole body do you do it all at once or in small batches?

I usually work up to about step 6 in batches and then complete the rest all together. Makes colouring it much easier.
