Description
Many stories of Suchus-2000 have passed through the mouths of the civilians within Iron Sparta. The stories were hated by the Robemen, and were encouraged through the Silvition ground forces to keep the people silent about it. It was an easy task for a creature no one had ever seen before, but that was soon to change. After the events that took place within Hatchery-Green, the destructive escape of Suchus-2000 became a prioritized search and destroy mission for the Silvition. Now with the disappearance of General Vermince and a large portion of Lancers, the Robemen were in desperate need to regain complete control once more, but this method is what ultimately set the roots for the disaster to come. For years, the Silvition continued their search for Suchus-2000, who had long since been thought of dead by the lower rankings. Regardless, the Robemen were adamant about continuing the search, whether it was because of their wisdom or their greed is unknown. On one day like any other, rainy and mucky, an Argy containing a small Lancer force was en route through its routine roundabouts, its fired up engines lighting up the dark misty air around it as it kept on course for its location. The ship was quick to slow down, taking place in a pocket of exposed soil, devoid of overgrowing trees and heavy vegetation, where its pilots stepped outside to regain communication with their home base. As the storm raged on, it was a normal event for coms to go down, as the rain had heavy effects on telecommunication. It wasnt easy for the pilots however, who tried time and time again to cast out a signal, but to no avail. Being forced to wait out the storms heaviness, they popped a squat on the ships docking bay and stared out towards the vast greenery, its sight being lonely but yet so alive. With so many cycles of the same routine taking place, being afraid of whatever lurks in the jungles became less of a concern when after a long days work, so the pilots paid no mind to the dangers. As the clouds overhead became thicker and darkened the sky, one of the pilots stepped inside the vehicle to turn on the headlights, while the other gazed out into the greenery, awaiting the sudden burst of light to brighten up the surroundings. Although the lights did work, what was caught in the focus of its glimmer was not what it seemed. A lengthy landscape of pebbly rocks, green with color and organic in look. This rock was nowhere in sight when they landed, so it was completely by surprise when the lights shined upon a massive boulder right next to them. The one pilot squinted their eyes, trying to focus on the evercasting darkness beyond the lights range, but with little success. The second pilot came back outside, taking a second look at the rocky mass in front of them, repeating the same thing as the first guy, "i dont remember seeing a rock formation here when we landed", which made him approach the rock and giving it a kick with his metal boot. Once his foot pressed against the material, it became evident something was not right. The texture was not rough like a rock should be, but was instead organic, like scales. Thats when the realization kicked in that whatever was in front of the pilots was a very massive organism. The racing thoughts of the various massive animals in the jungles shook the pilot cold with fear, as he stepped backwards in a hurry to tell his pilot about his findings. As the pilot stepped backwards, the enormous mass of pebbled skin started moving, along with the sound of a massive gutteral hum, shaking the foliage, the ship, and even the pilots insides.
As the creature moved, the headlights followed focus with it, raising higher into the sky, only lighting up so much, while the animal in question continued raising itself higher and higher. Its enormous frame dwarfed the treeline surrounding it, as its outline was barely visible in the downpour. The body began to slow its movement, while two bright ruby colored eyes gazed down directly at the vessel. The pilots minds raced back and fourth between eachother, trying to make sense of something they could barely see. The eyes glared with curious but aggressive intent, making the pilots freeze in place, before the loud hiss of the animal sent them into a panic towards their control panel. They were racing to start up the engines, eager to get away from this devil, while it just stood still, eyeballing them with a hateful aura. The ships engines lit up and finally began taking to the sky, and within moments was far beyond the sightline of the enormous beast. The panic was not over however, as the pilots struggled to make communication once more with the docking bay. To their luck, they were finally able to contact the bay, screaming their hearts out with mumbling static as they tried desperately to get their message through the bad connection. All that was clear to hear was "Its coming", "we are all going to die", and "hit with everything", while the rest of the message was too rough to read. The docking bay telecom workers were quick to relay the information to authorities, unsure of what was to come, but they felt the panic too.
