You mean like the photo as bottom layer? That should definitely work

Did you only use the soft blender stump? Do you have other blenders you like to use?

Hey, no, I also used the Only add water blender, I think I did only a few times, like when I did the skin. There I first selected a few colors and used the Loaded palette knife to shape the face, like that I would have a great variety of colors. And then I blended that.
Ah..I'm sorry, I can't remember excactly. But I wanted to paint another (my friends should stop that thing with birthdays >_> ), hopefully, I'll remember to write down some steps for another Tutorial ^_^
