I redid the scene I drew from last year.ΒUnwanted
I like to see how much I've improved after just a year and I'm happy with the outcome. I still don't like Clear Sky, even though he seemed to have a little remorse by the end of the third book. Gray Wing may have been more willing to forgive his brother and give him a chance, but he doesn't deserve it. What do you guys think about Clear Sky? Do you like him, or do you hate everything about him? Or are you neutral about it?

βTake him away,β he meowed. βThereβs no place for him here.β βWhat?β Gray Wing couldnβt believe what he was hearing. βHeβs your son!β βI canβt raise him.β Clear Skyβs voice was bleak. βItβs my fault his mother died. If Iβd stopped Storm from leaving, she would still be alive. What kind of life can I give her kit?β Gray Wing began to understand. If Thunder stayed in the camp, he would be a constant reminder to Clear Sky of what he had lost. βHow can I raise a kit?β Clear Sky demanded. βI have too much to do here, protecting these cats.β βYou have cats who will help you!β Gray Wing retorted. βThunder needs you.β Clear Sky shook his head decisively. βNo. What he needs is a father who can take care of himβ who doesnβt bring bad luck to every cat he cares about.β His voice was hard, filled with anger and self-loathing.

UGH! I still get angry every time I remember when Clear Sky didn't take Thunder when he was a kit! I just can't believe it!

Would you have wanted him to go to Clear Sky? When Thunder was born, Clear Sky had not gone through his 'big change', and kits learn from examples, so Thunder might have been to violent. And are you saying he didn't love Thunder, Gray Wing, Bright Stream, Storm, or Jagged Peak?Β Β

Not quite that way, but if Clearsky was his father, and actuallyΒ felt the love of a father, he might have been different! It's like when a queen thinks of her kits safety before her own.

I actually love Clear Sky. Just how his life was made him who he is, a cat who wants to protect his Clanmates, or die trying. I don't care if he did make huge mistakes every book, he will always be one of my personal favourites. Β

Clear sky is basically Tigerstar. Overly hungry with power. He did kill cats. Remember Rainswept Flower? Stood up to Clear sky, and what's Clear sky's response? Killing her. Remember Jagged Peak and Frost? Both kicked out because of injuries. Remember when Clear Sky found Minty and her kits? He didn't kill Minty, but he suggested killing the kits. He threw out his own son, Thunder, because of what? And attempted to kill Grey Wing. He also stated that Grey Wing was no longer his brother. Do you still like him?

Clear Sky, Skystar or whatever you're called now, I hate you. Burn in Dark Forest. You left Thunder by the care of his uncle, Gray Wing, and then you killed so many innocent cats, just like Rainswept Flower. Just.... No. Go away. No one likes you

I really hated Clear Sky during the first three books, where he was just a total jerk to his former tribe members and to everyone, really. By The Blazing Star he had become okay, though he really does make a few mistakes you just can't look past after reading the former books. π: 0 β©: 0
