So I'm still just messing around, and I've done a bunch of renders which I think are very mediocre. But I didn't mind this one, at least as a study on how Ellie and Red are coming along.The Ellie model (that is, just her head and neck) got its main texture worked on a little, healing some of her scratches and bruises and restoring her right eyebrow. I also messed around with her face's reflectivity settings, so she'd match Red's face a little better.
About 25 minutes in Daz with iRay, about half an hour's post in Photoshop for the background, levels and hair touch-ups.

These really are amazing. Do you modify the figures to customize them or are they re brought? They have such unique looks compared to what I usually see on the DAZ store.

Thank you! I do a fair bit of modification, but not as far as sculpting or anything- the character Red you'd recognise as very similar to your Starling- same hair, teen Josie GF2 base. The Ellie character is a Poser model which I've re-textured and applied iRay shaders to.

My honest opinion is that Ellie looks life like whereas Red looks like an anime character. Its the eyes I think larger than normal and wider apart.
Not saying that there is anything wrong with red, just a quick crude opinion comparing the two. Ellie is more pleasing to my eyes - higher res skin map as well maybe ?

It's interesting, isn't it? I've actually made some changes to Red so that they matched better- reducing her head size for starters! Before I did that, the real/fake aspect was even more prominent. In fact the Ellie skin map is not really high res. I think it's just the proportions of her face being more realistic. Anyhow- thanks for your comment!
