The girl had been lying prone on the deck, among the other casualties, but the second Red had touched her, she'd uncoiled like a viper and head-locked Red, pulling her back with appalling speed. In just seconds Red found her vision darkening. She elbowed the girl as hard as she could, slamming into a hard and sinewy torso. The other girl grunted, but tightened her grip. Red felt her arms weaken, and with the last breath she had, she wheezed, "What do you want?" The grip on her throat eased slightly. That's a start, thought Red, drawing in a lungful of air.About 1 and three quarter hours in Daz with iRay.

Yeah, it's as tight as I could make it without the models clipping in to each other. But yeah, Ellie's loosened her grip. She knows that Red isn't much of a threat to her.

Sure! Welcome, new watcher, to the hodge-podge that is SHD Industries.
So Red is a character who's appeared in about half my renders since 2014. She inhabits a sci-fi future where, about 80 years ago, men essentially became genetically corrupted by means unknown. She was grown in an artificial womb (not cloned, but from sperm and ova) on a base on one of the small moons of Jupiter.
In my universe she's 16. She's being trained as a combat medic and field surgeon, where she shows talent but little enthusiasm.
Red and her bestie Spew were confined to the medical bay on the base as punishment when the base was attacked by a mercenary company intent on conquest (for reasons unknown!). The base AI helped them to survive the attack, and has now put them to work helping survivors.
You watch Jolly Pops too, right? So you've probably already fallen for Jolly's version of Red...who's kind of a cooler, sexier college girl in Jolly's universe (and lately, a space-soldier too!).

For sure- but Red isn't the one wearing red, that's Ellie. And thank you- one of my fave things about how this came out is those crazed, stone-cold killah eyes that say, "I could choke sweet little redheads all day."

They're both beautiful but I'm MENTAL for the girl who's giving the choke hold (not receiving it). She's bloody gorgeous! Looks a bit like Ellen Paige, but not so much that it seems like imitation. A stunning, fragile beauty made all the more striking by avoiding obvious and easy ways to be beautiful. A true character. BRAVO!

Well, well! That character is one of the protagonists of a video game called "The Last of Us", and MY MY wasn't there a minor scandal when she was unveiled- because as you say, she resembles Ellen Page, and is called Ellie! Ellen Page was not amused at all. So: I can take NO credit for this beautiful character at all! But I agree, she's a paragon of offhand, girl-next-door beauty...which is my fave kind! You'll find a shitload of Ellie on the googletrons!

How do you do renders with Elle from Last of Us (which is a bloody brilliant game BTW and one of the few video games I've ever finished)? I thought she looked a bit familiar... how do you do it?

I bought a posable model of Ellie which is this weird hybrid thing- so the model is Ellie in her iconic clothes. In the renders I've done, I've made everything but her head invisible, and stuck her head on a Genesis 3 model. I call it Frankensteining.

I do quite a bit of "Frankensteining" myself (wonderful term, BTW). I didn't realize that there were DAZ models available of video game characters - is she a DAZ asset or something you imported into DAZ?
In terms of killing each other - girls gunfighting at point blank range, John Woo (now John Wick) style? Maybe two girls blasting each other with another pair of casualties on the floor?
