Another Metroid Fusion art.The SA-X is out for some hunting. Samus hunting that is.
Walking the dark corridors of the B.S.L. station, the SA-X just happens to run into Samus. It knew that Samus would run because she didn't have the weaponry required.
The SA-X does not hunt for money or glory. Might not even be for fun. But it could be because of the Metroid-DNA that Samus carries that makes her an interesting target.
Poor Samus... "This is nothing like Dark Samus!"
Anyway, hope you enjoy the pic.

Geez. No enemy is ANY game has never made me so paranoid... Hell, when I saw it for the first time, I was actually holding my breathe. I didn't want to die.
And then, when you have to run into it, I kept picturing in my head that samus was saying 'Son of a *****'
I mean, the nightmare was hard and all, but for gods sake, SA-X made me piss my pants several times thanks to the ice beam.

The fact that you're eventually forced to run from the SA-X just flat-out SUCKS. That ice beam freaking MURDERS YOU.

I don't think I could ever do a 1% run on this game.
Nightmare...I've been haunted by the countless times I PHAILED against him. The only reason I don't have trouble against him now is that I get 12 energy tanks before I fight him. I always thought that having a bunch of energy tanks is the only way to get through this game with no problem.

The 1% run for me was definitely not without pain.
The biggest challenges were definitely Nightmare and NeoRidley!
You could only be hit 2 times total or so in battle and the worst is that you were only allowed 15 missiles at most which is minimum possible. Although the clear time is around 1.5h, there's alot more of hidden time behind it.

You'd need ninja Screw Attack-reflexes for Nightmare when he starts flying about in the room.
And don't forget super Screw Attack- and morph ball-reflexes for Ridley since he can easily pass for a big approaching wall most of the time.

It would have been possible to encounter more than one at a time since they reproduced asexually. But at a total Samus encounter just 2.
...or was it a different one each encounter? We'll never know.
She should be happy they didn't travel in groups.
