Last submission of April.When Samus finally reached Phaaze, she realized something. Phaaze is one hell of a planet.
Samus could ask herself: 'How do I get rid of a whole freaking planet!?'
Not to worry, Samus! Dark Samus has it all figured out already!
All you have to do is to fly down there and defeat her new toy. That shouldn't be too hard.
Samus speciality: "Indirectly" destroying planets.
If you don't remember or played the game:
The Space Pirates stole a biological computer and Dark Samus wanted for some reason hook it up to the evil super-planet.
Of course you'll fight it, but when you defeat it, the whole planet blows up for some reason...

Phazon planets seem to need a controller, like the Metroid Prime or the Ing Emperor.

Yeah, she hooked it up so that she could control the sending of Leviathans. Otherwise, as the art booklet says, they only get sent to a random place every one hundred years.
Still, I can't help but wonder myself, why did Samus choose to head further into the planet if she didn't know what she was going to find? What good would killing Dark Samus do if that wouldn't blow up the planet? What was the reason for the GF invasion? What good did it do and why did if have to be full-scale?
The answer: Phazon poisoning.

Or it was her overblown confidence that guided her.
She has most things blown up when defeated already, so why not this time?
I'm more surprised to how she found a suitable place to land on the whole planet that gave the shortest path to Dark Samus.
And it's just strange that the beginning of the game gave an elaborate briefing before action and the final was more of a blind jump into it.

How does a computer blowing up destroy the planet? That would be like breaking your PC and your house explodes.

Its actually more like breaking the automatic control system on atomic powerplant and reactor goes kaboom. That means thats one hell of a shitty powerplant.

That was my initial thought, but it was explained that AU313 was symbiotically linked to the planet. Like if your brain would explode.

This is a weird sounding plan. Go to a phazon planet link a super computer to it, throw chunks of it at other planets, and make them phazon planets and rule the phazon universe?
