Oops! I forgot to put that it's fimo polymer clay... And you may want to glaze the icing to make it more realistic (not that you really get cakes looking like this)A little tutorial to make some cute rainbow cake charms, Enjoy!

It gets softer as it warms up. When you put it in the fridge it goes a bit harder so when you cut something with multiple layers or colours they won't be squished together. You will still need to put it in the over to cure it and make it set.

This sort of polymer clay (Fimo) does not dry if it is left out. You can leave it in the air and it will never dry out and become hard. To make it solid, so you can no longer bend it or work with it, you need to bake it in an over at a low heat for about half an hour. If you don't do this you will still me able to crush the clay back into a blob, just like playdough or plasticine. A lot of people work with Fimo because it holds tiny details well and they don't have to rush their sculpting as it will never dry out and set at normal room temperatures.

It should be on the front of the pack and might vary slightly with different colours, I can't remember, but generally 30mins at 110°C or 230°F
