Insert joke about the French only being able to shoot while retreating here.

In the pre radar targeting era this is not a good design. So good lucking finding your range with only 4 guns stuck in one turret.
One lucky hit can take out all your main armament.
As a shore bombardment monitor she's way too valuable.
And just like H.M.S Courageous and H.M.S Glorious shortly after WW1 admirals will be left scratching their heads to find a proper use for her.

So why not use that displacement and make a Super Heavy Cruiser instead armed with 16 X 8 inch guns in 4 quad turrets.

i love looking at these old warships. When they were launched they were the cutting edge of technology. the pride and joy of the men who designed and built them. Now we have ships that can cruise for years and carry enough firepower to sink a fleet of these old girls from over the horizon. Makes you respect the men who were willing to sail into battle on one of these warships.
