Description Well, Well, Well, look at what we have here...

This was a crazy ambitious project for me to undergo, especially considering my falling out with the Fallout/MLP crossover and MLP content as a whole. I spent almost 10 cumulative hours, starting from scratch, making changes as I go along, on something that otherwise is couching on the success of my original You're SPECIAL, which has netted over 12,000 pageviews since I made it over three years ago. I've had a idea for more of these You're SPECIAL stat comparisons beyond just the initial 8 (10 if you count the three-on-three I made), but once Fallout 4 actually did come out, and had satisfactorily finished Project Horizons and the poems I made for it, I took a break to play Fallout 4 and focus my interests elsewhere. As most have come to realize, Fallout 4 is a glaring disappointment of a game that heavily deviates from what Fallout was known for; as a rpg for the post apocalyptic survivor, and my creative interests were more weighed against the so called 'SJW' types that really started to push my buttons back in late 2015.

So now, with that in mind, I now had the idea to 'recreate' my original You're SPECIAL to fit how the Perk system works in Fallout 4, thus is why there is a notation on the side of the title to indicate as such. Since a lot of the people who liked my initial You're SPECIAL projects would tend to roleplay with the stats in mind, I also painstakingly went through each of the tiers of the 70 perks that fit the main protagonists style, even if said Perk System doesn't allot for drastic deviation in terms of character. The Original SPECIAL stats I made for Littlepip and Blackjack have been maintained, as the starting 28 was too paltry for me to make cuts, and seeing that you can invest level ups into the SPECIALS themselves (rather than a specific perk), and that most who play Fallout 4 know how easy it is to level up so quickly, went with a 'Level 75' variant that would allot for 63 separate perk points, 12 going into the base SPECIAL. if You're curious how I determined the specials for the two, you can go to the original at www.deviantart.com/somethinggu… because I'd rather not have to explain myself again as to how I came to my conclusion for those stats. I'm already going to have to explain how I determined the perks that both would tend to use, and to make it as easy as I possibly can, I'll do one special at a time, while explaining the perks present in both. I'll also go by the highest perk in each respective letter first and work down as I go along.

And one last thing before I get started explaining, since you noticed the 'vectors' I've used; both were from Suramii 's work, someone I never used vectors from previous works beforehand. I really didn't want to rely on vectors, but just having the names without a face to show them just irked me, but I made a reasonable compromise, like I did before, by making sure they were as obscured as possible without being unseen. I also added a sort of 'nickname' list for the two protagonists down the road as well, so the audience not familiar with them could get a general idea of their respective personalities.

STRENGTH

Steady Aim

Blackjack - Seeing that Blackjack tends to get shooty in any scenario, you'd expect her to be somewhat in tune with shooting while hip, or in this case, galloping across.

Strong Back

Blackjack - Blackjack is perhaps the packmule of her odd bunch of misfits, which is strange considering she is unofficially the leader of said group. You'd think Lacunae would take that, but she instead only hauls the big weapons she uses, so of course Blackjack needs to compensate with using Strong Back.

Blacksmith

Blackjack - From a Deathclaw's hand to a vorpal blade, Blackjack has a accessory of strange weapons to use at her discretion. While not the most willed at the forge so to speak, she's willing to rig any kind of utensil to get an edge up.

Armorer

Blackjack - While the cybernetic upgrades and enhancements that Blackjack can't really translate well into the theme of FO4, the armorer perk is the closest resemblance to the numerous upgrades Blackjack has had to limit any sustained damage upon her. The fact that she already had some hardy security barding also helped too in the onset.

Littlepip - While Littlepip has had made some improvements to her vault suit, like many do, she isn't really concerned about the well being of her armor as she tends to get out of sticky situations, usually.

Big Leagues

Blackjack - Since Blackjack is already prone to using any weapon available to her (a overcooked 'rock pancake', anyone?), it not's surprising that she would be pretty good with using melee weapons too. Not to the extent that someone would rely on them only, but definitely someone who has some might to their swing.

Iron Fist

Blackjack - Again, not one to get up close and personal with her own hooves, but seeing that her own cybernetic technology has made her innately stronger by mere weight alone would make her keen on using her mitts to do the talking.

PERCEPTION

Locksmith

Littlepip - There isn't a lock that Pip couldn't pick, and wouldn't pick. Her morbid curiosity (which is where her 'curious pilferer' nickname comes from) has made her a literal expert at the bobby and the pin, from hoof to unicorn magic.

Blackjack - While Blackjack had time to kill, she had some time to learn how to lockpick some things, as it became somewhat important for her to do down the line. She doesn't carry the same finesse like Littlepip, but she can at least get the normal locks with ease.

Awareness

Littlepip - Littlepip's small frame and naive stance has made her a bit more cognizant of other's strengths, as well as their negatives. Not without her ego, however, but having to come to terms with the fact that her unicorn magic was mostly limited to her levitation, Littlepip at least knows her limits.

Blackjack - While Blackjack does know some variant weaknesses of certain units, she often brashly goes into a fight thinking she will win, which usually ends up horribly in comedic fashion.

Rifleman

Littlepip - Littlepip's trusty Zebra Rifle is only seconded by her Lil' Macintosh in effectiveness and in use, and seeing that she can also levitate it free from the burden of a gun saddle to 'mouth' the trigger, makes Littlepip more versatile with it.

Blackjack - While Blackjack has had a massive ordinance of weapons at her disposal, she often tends to either misplace them, destroy them, or replace them with a better alternative. Not to say she can't use a weapon, but Blackjack has streamlined her assortment moreso than Littlepip.

Pickpocket

Littlepip - Like with her lockpick, Littlepip almost can't help herself to pickpocket someone or something if she can, even if it doesn't really help her cause. Her burning curiosity often gets the best of her, but it does make her sure good at covering it.

ENDURANCE

Adamantium Skeleton

Blackjack - There has been very few examples of a pain sponge better exemplified than Blackjack. From bullets, to fire, to lazers, to rapes (Seahorse, anyone?), Blackjack is forever resilient to most brunts taken in her life.

Chem Resistant

Blackjack - Blackjack has a tendency to simultaneously take every drug into her system if she so desperately needs to win out on a situation, which has make her quite resilient to drug toking as well, never suffering from addiction in spite of it.

Littlepip - While Littlepip has resisted the desire to eat Mentats to preserve her thoughtfulness, Littlepip has only especially resisted that drug, and not all drugs as a whole. So with that, she only gets one on chem resistant.

Lifegiver

Blackjack - Seeing that 'fortitude' is a recurring theme in Blackjack's world, it only makes sense that she would have a hardy hp pool as well (even if it doesn't factor that much into the FOE world).

Littlepip - While Littlepip has had her fair share of brunts, Littlepip tends to get herself out of most combat situations, making her viability to take hits less prioritized over simply avoiding it.

Lead Belly

Littlepip - This is ability particularly unique to Littlepip, as she was mostly stranded in the wasteland of Ponyville whereas Blackjack already had readily available places to get her supplies, so Littlepip had result to more desperate measures to get water than she.

Toughness

Blackjack - I feel like I'm a broken record when it comes to this, but Blackjack is TOUGH, with a strong T. Even when it comes to pain she inflicts upon herself, she is seldom ever not dull to pain, so of course she would be proficient in the Toughness perk.

Littlepip - As with the life giver perk, Littlepip has had her own fair share of hardships, but they haven't been nearly as thrown as hard against her as Blackjack has. And with Littlepip's tendency to stealth through her problems, she wouldn't find toughness viable.

CHARISMA

Local Leader

Blackjack - While Blackjack isn't one to start building a settlement where she see fit, she has had to band ponies together towards a common goal. No, Scotch Tape is the one who usually desires to build settlements up, whereas Blackjack mostly just bandwagons them together.

Lone Wanderer

Blackjack - Blackjack tends to have relapses in her life, where she personally feels as though she is a burden on her own companions, and will go on self-exiles entirely on her own. Obviously, this tends to go awry for her, either by being trapped in a weird mental hospital or in the arms of a random batpony with the hots for her. Still, having been alone has given her the conviction to work on just her own strengths.

Lady Killer/Black Widow

Blackjack - Blackjack definitely isn't shy about being promiscuous with most of anyone she even has a inkling of attraction towards, even her own known enemies! Especially with the alcohol in tow, Blackjack can use her own seduction to trick her own enemies into a false sense of security (Lancer, for example) to save herself from potential trouble.

Littlepip - Littlepip only ecks out a point on this for her compassionate speech talking, rather than her charisma. To trick what was Trixie Goldenblood away from her weird entourage of Alicorns helps, as well as tricking Red Eye's ultimatum is notable, but not as sly as how Blackjack makes her words slip.

Cap Collector

Blackjack - While there has been some huge bounties on her back, and favors to pay, Blackjack is actually not one to be in a rush to collect caps, as her friends often find themselves wanting it more than she. Most of the time, she shares the wealth rather than spend it on herself.

Littlepip - Whereas with 'Pip, she is definitely more prone to the caps collecting. Being naive to the wasteland and alone for the first few moments also helps to get her into the wasteland mindset overall.

INTELLIGENCE

Robotics Expert

Littlepip - Her previous knowledge of working on Pipboys helps that she can also deal with machines easily, even without her use of energy weapons mainly.

Chemist

Littlepip - Littlepip needs her mentats, in anyway she can! She definitely wouldn't be privy to make some of her own rather than scrounging for some.

Science!

Littlepip> - heralded as the 'toaster repair pony', Littlepip is the definite nerd of the group, affiliated with all things tech that it would make a BoS member blush.

Scrapper

Littlepip - While 'Pip doesn't tend to have to dig in garbage piles to fix her gun, she does a little elbow grease to fix some of her problems, weapon or person based.

Hacker

Littlepip - Like with her lockpicking, there isn't a terminal that doesn't fluster her. Having to break into terminals to sneak some private messages of Velvet Remedy (for her own pleasure), it would make sense Littlepip can catch keywords like a dime.

Gun Nut

Littlepip - Her gunplay should not be ignored, but it isn't her main thesis with dealing with things. She has a at best average knowledge of guns and their function.

Blackjack - Blackjack literally has a fetish for guns. Having a lady boner over a poster or the 'smell' of a Riot Shotgun is just one example of her fascination with weaponry. And seeing just how many she does use in her travels helps with her almost infinite knowledge of guns, even if it's more ephemeral than technical knowledge.

Medic

Littlepip & Blackjack - This is the only stat so far that both parties fare equally. They have their own medics that doll out the prescriptions, but apart from sticking stimpacks in the spots that hurt, both are extremely novice at the practice at best.

V.A.N.S.

Littlepip - I mean, her cutie mark IS A pipboy, so it is really surprising she would have this perk? She is quite overreliant on it, whereas Blackjack questions the motives of it's use, like with how determines 'friend' from 'enemy' for example.

AGILITY

Ninja

Littlepip star: - Quiet and painless is Littlepip's MO. She does not want to get into the thick of battle, and rather try to silently execute her enemies when they don't even see it coming.

Moving Target

Littlepip - Seeing that Littlepip not only tries to avoid most combats head on and is small framed, Littlepip is quite a hard target to hit. Her levitation also gives her the ability to typically take cover and still fire safe from harm, at the cost of her seeing who she's shooting.

Action Boy/Action Girl

Littlepip & Blackjack - another perk that both are equally attuned too, Blackjack for her use of 'unicorn bullets' and Littlepips more cautious use of her six shooter Lil' Macintosh, but both are not overtly reliant on it to the point that they would put all their points in it.

Sneak

Littlepip - always the cautious sneak, to either pick safes she shouldn't otherwise be picking, or to completely outmaneuver her enemy without them realizing it, Littlepip is the mouse that doesn't make a sound during christmas time in the form of a quarter horse.

Blackjack - Blackjack eventually learned the importance of sneaking, but because of her weighty and bulky build, it was wanting of Blackjack to actually sneak without shaking the fucking house with every step she makes. But unequipped, she might be able to slither around some security systems without a pipe. Heavy emphasis on 'might'.

Commando

Littlepip & Blackjack - Yet another perk that both are equally good at, Pip has been efficient with her zebra rifle, a sort of 'semi-automatic' rifle so to speak, and Blackjack with a whole assortment of other automatic weapons, especially in the field of plasma and energy. While they aren't a literal expert at the field, they know how to handle their twohanders and it's eventual recoil.

Gunslinger

Littlepip - Lil' Macintosh is a weapon that is feared by anyone who comes cross with her. Her most signature weapon, despite it's six cylinder chamber and hand reload of the bullets, is actually more fearsome in her capable 'aura' than her zebra rifle primarily BECAUSE she can offset any fallbacks with her levitation magic. Using it primarily makes her a female Clint Eastwood in pony form.

Blackjack - While Blackjack AGAIN has had a whole cornucopia of weapons to try, she prefers the heavier, two handed rifles rather than the dinky pistols, making her less of a threat with them, especially considering that she often has to use her muzzle to fire the fuckers.

LUCK

Critical Banker

Blackjack - With the new 'criticals' system in VATS, it would make sense that Blackjack would have this stored, as she tends to score some herself with her innate luck. If a particular enemy needs to die quickly, or just some jackoff is frustrating her, she's got one stored in the chamber, in more ways than one!

Better Criticals

Blackjack - with her storing those necessary crits, is her dealing those necessary crits. A unicorn bullet pulled the right way? Better Criticals. A shotgun's pellets hit square in the dome? Better Criticals. Blackjack is always taking combat like a flip of a coin, and hers is a two-headed coin.

Idiot Savant

Blackjack - Seeing that Blackjack often gets into bad situations without much forethought, it also surprises many how she can avoid any harm in the process. Her binge drinking can wind her in a situation where she is literally unstoppable, against all odds, to the point she'll start singing to note at the absurdity!

Bloody Mess

Blackjack - Nothing is ever clean after Blackjack's done with it. Not one to shy away at getting down and dirty, Blackjack has some made some messes that are quite hard to describe even for me. Unintentional or no, Blackjack can't stray away from painting the walls with your blood.

Littlepip - While Littlepip is definitely less keen on getting down and dirty, sometimes it just can't be avoided. Her bloodletting is quite occasional, especially shared amongst friends, but she definitely would rather handle a situation peacefully.

Scrounger

Blackjack - blackjack has been hoarding just about anything that might hold some way to her later in life, to the point she'll revisit certain areas to find new things along the way. Memory Orbs, statues, porn mags, the works!

Littlepip - Littlepip's curiosity also helps her want to find some interesting things, even if her only keen interest is the memory orbs and not much else, rather than just picking locks like a fidget of hers.

Fortune Finder

Littlepip & Blackjack - the last perk on this list, and one that both share, in spite of Littlepip's precedent to find bottlecaps, both are equally likely to find them. This might be due to the fact that Blackjack is simply 'luckier' when it comes to finding them.

And that is it with the explanations in terms of the Perks. Again, I already explained the inherent SPECIAL stats within, so you can check that out in the meantime. As for what I've been doing beyond that, I've been mostly lying back and enjoying this Fallout-themed radio station on Youtube while I worked on this. You can find me occassionally commenting on it through www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hSImd… , either giving some introspective insight into the upcoming Fallout 76, or just shitposting as I tend to do. I hope this 'new' You're SPECIAL will sate your interests after a 3 year drought, because I'm still uncertain if I even want to make more beyond this, considering just how much work this one was.

Really cool to see you making updated versions of these. I always thought they were a cool interesting way to get more insight on some of the FoE characters.

Thanks, yeah. Sort of had this idea since I played Fallout 4, but were dashed away considering everything else that happened come 2016 and 2017. and my reception of Fallout 4 was, mixed to say the least. Thanks for faving the other two new ones as well!
