I don't mind people writing this and that about the rivalry between Sonic and Mario, but most people (most!) seem to assume that it's the only way to go. I mean, just because the two (and soon, three) games they've appeared together in are centered around competition doesn't mean it's all they can do, does it? I for one am a firm believer that they can bury the hatchet and fight alongside each other, rather than against each other.The Mario's sprite from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga; I downloaded it just for this stamp. The Sonic sprite's from Sonic Advance 2; I had it saved on my hard drive for who knows how long.
Just because we've never seen it happen doesn't mean it can't. And I'm absolutely sure it can. Who's with me?

Yeah the plots are okay at some parts. I guess it's just hard to "feel play" it on the DS cause the screen is always giving you constant directions like: "MOVE HERE" pr "SLIDE HERE" you know, that sort of thing... and the graphics sometimes looked a little funny... I couldn't tell an Omachao from a ball at moments x3

No they can't. Ever hear of the famous Console Wars of the 90's? Sonic was intended to destroy Mario and he almost did. Nintendo completely dominated the market and it was because of them that nothing else had a chance. If it wasn't for Sonic beating them down a little, there would be no Xbox or Playstation today. So next time any of you go to play a game of Halo or Battlefield, thank Sonic and Sega.
