Well, he let go of the column! Though apparently it took him a long time since all of his sheep went to sleep. He's stiff as a board with his arms and wings all splayed out but they're finally moving! Very slowly. Dawn tested his patience when he was teaching her ground manners and now he's testing hers as he learns how to balance. He cues her with short single-syllable vocal commands they practiced from the ground that should eventually be replaced with just shifting his weight once she learns that he leans over her withers every time before he asks her to go forward. Ahh, no more kids kicking her in the ribs! But she'll never learn to read his body language if he feels like a stone statue wobbling around on her back so if he expects her to respond to his movements one day, he's seriously going to have to relax!

Next Chapter

and er yeah the design of the everything is gonna change every time i draw it lol but you get the idea, fancy elvish-lookin walls, magical glowing crystals, columns, underground, etc. the unicorn will stay as that celtic whatever-it-was was just a preset shape in photoshop i slapped on until i could decide on something meaningful to the characters. Celestian also got a new color scheme because I felt the previous one looked a bit too overly gay/girly, and didn't really fit his age. even his lead ram got updated! nothing is safe from my indecisive inconsistency, not even the sheep!!
