I finally had the chance to do this mini tutorial. I've been months thinking about making one like this. I really wanted to just take a break from commissions and just practice a little bit.

In this mini tutorial, I kinda explain a basic way of how to shade/color a character's face. I sort of mapped out where the shadows and highlights might go in the face (this can vary because faces are built differently. There is no perfect way to do this xD).

This is the way I usually color my characters' faces and everything, really xD it is just repeating the same steps but with different shapes and materials xD Oh and in case some of you might wonder what kind of brush I use, I just use the generic round brush. I just tweak the opacity, hardness, and softness of it xD
