This is really beatiful, but somehow the rings seem a bit of. They are not at the center of the planets rotation axis, if you know what I mean. But anyway, this is a stunning peace of work - especially the light through the rings.

Personally, I've got a thing for space arts. Always liked the idea of a planet with rings, as well.
Well, an earth-like planet with rings. I think it would make for beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Let alone interesting displays during the day and night.

Nice work! I love the lighting effects You've added a little too much noise on the rings though, and because of that, the first star looks like its dissolving inside the rings -_-"

Dude, nice you made something new
Loving the two stars ... but the crescents are very hard and shouldn't be textured.

How could I improve them? And what do you mean textured? Thanks for the comment.

By textured I mean not blank! And I dunno but you can check out good ones in some pics like [link]

But they aren't? I like to have thick atmospheres too

Awesome, very nice work! I agree with Cruton's comments about the lens flare, I actually like them though just perfect the shape a little more like in the middle of the lens flares its got like a weird shape to it and maybe lower their visibility a bit. But this is great, nice work.

I like the planetary textures and I like the color scheme as I am a sucker for the strong blue palette.
The little moons as elements seem nicely placed.
However I think the highlight achievement of this piece is the light through the rings. That element as a focus for the piece really makes it stand out. It is not only superbly executed but beautifully so.
That being said I am just not digging the lens flares off to the side. They don't really seem to serve the purpose of the piece and distract the eye.
As a much more minor complaint the intersection of the foreground planet with the rings and the large background planet is a bit of a challenge to my suspension of disbelief. It looks like the ring would be skirting to atmosphere of the second planet and it would disintegrate. Here though I can't tell if I am being overly picky about the physics or if this is a perspective problem where I am just not getting an accurate sense of the depth.
In any event, Kimberly: you are a lucky girl with a talented boyfriend.

Thanks for the comment.
I am a bit of a sucker for lens flares, though I can see how it could distract an observer's eye, might change this if I get around to modifying the piece. The ring is supposed to look as if it is going around the foreground planet, the reason it looks as if it is intersecting is because it goes behind the foreground planet where the larger background planet goes behind the foreground planet.
The large background planet is supposed to look far off, yet large as given by its immense scale. Thus, is behind the foreground.
Yes, in our universe, this sort of alignment would be impossible due to gravitational effects that would be at work here, but I take these sort of artistic licenses with my pieces.
Yes, she is
