Description
Doing these for my own amusement. I updated the card since people are so butthurt about wanting every fan made card to be good or playable.Somewhat based off Zyra's ultimate of the same name.
It was an excuse to use the new guild mechanic for the Selesnya Conclave in Return to Ravnica.

shouldnt it do damage to target creature? i mean her stranglethorns in game do damage and knock enemys into the air

That's true, but green cards rarely deal direct damage and I didn't want to tack red or black onto the card since I'm trying to balace out the color pie when I did the initial batch of cards. I'd have to have added blue or white then as well to tap creatures down if you wanted to knockup referenced as well.
The cards are meant to represent the flavor and feel or the spells/characters rather than replicate the in-game traits to a tee.

haste is fine, but the "until end of turn" text isnt needed... "plant creatures you control get +2/+2 and have haste" would be better

well green doesnt do haste that much, what about throwing red into the cost like 2GR or something?

Haste isn't a signature ability for green, but it's not uncommon.

there are 16 green creatures that have or can get haste by themselves without the help of red. out of 1542 green creatures total. i would call 1% pretty uncommon.

Certainly. It only affects plant tokens, so if you're populating something scary, like 9/9 Golems, then they can't attack, and plant tokens are 0/1s. If it affected Saprolings too, it'd be more powerful, still not dangerously so.

Flavorful effects and it's neat to see a Return to Ravnica effect being used. I agree with JTMS; there are indeed bad rares in the game, but your card doesn't need to be among them. Maybe this thing could give your plants +2/0 or make more than one token with Populate?

Doesn't fit the flavor of Zyra's spell. Not every card has to be good. I don't see why people keep thinking that.

Then just lower the mana cost or rarity. Not every spell has to be good, but this is pretty terrible. Compare to Triumph of the Hordes
