This piece looks amazing... I am very curious as to how you made this. What methods did you use, or what materials at least?

MDF for the main body. I then designed many of the detailed parts in 3D (I use Rhino3D) and printed them with my 3D printer. Expoxy sculpt to help bevel out some of the edges. Made a mold of the master I created so that I could cast 2 hollow halves. Wired up the LEDs myself, which was very time consuming.
I'll eventually get around to documenting the whole process on my website, but I've been too booked up with commissions as of late.

Oh wow, That sounds like an extensive process. Although, the end product appears to be worth it. I will definitely keep tabs on your website, I want to pick up some of these methods myself 0:

My facebook page does have all of my WIP pictures with descriptions. It's just a matter of organizing it all into an easy to read format on a website.
