With his late Georgian / Early Victorian style, it's difficult to get this pre-Hartnell incarnation into a style I like. The template for this incarnation, writer and script-editor Robert Holmes, had a style of writing that benefited Doctor Who greatly. From his pen we got the Autons and Sontarans, under his watch Tom Baker's early years had solid storylines.
