I would almost always kill giants (and mammoths if they may or do get in my way) for their toes andΒ theΒ gold they carry, also, I kill them because I don't want to risk dying and being shot up 500 yards in the air.

I will never harm a giant again, after one (and his mammoth) completely obliterated a bunch of Dawnguard do-gooders that were about to ambush me and Serana. Apparently, giants and vampires are allies now. Who knew?

I see it as Elder Scroll-based magic. The Scrolls are described as being bits of (in-game) reality itself, yet separate from it, containing knowledge of the world's past, present and future for those able to decipher it.
What is that but the game's source code? Using the console is like opening an Elder Scroll and messing with it to change the very fabric of reality. I see this as perfectly lore-friendly... kind of.Β

I was honestly surprised when I found that a giant walking across Skyrim seemed fine with letting me tag along. Weird or not, it really showed that even after years of being out, Skyrim can still surprise me.

I bet if the Jarls knew what the giants were really like, they wouldn't be so aggressive toward them. Just today I was playing and found a giant outside of Dawnstar grieving over the loss of his dead mammoth buddy. Not sure what killed the mammoth but the poor giant wouldn't leave its side.

Hehehe I found going werewolf generally ensured that the giants got their asses kicked. Now that there is the werewolf perk tree? Once I get one of my werewolves fully leveled up, there will not be a damn thing that will be able to stand up to them.

The summon Werebear power from the Beast Stone helped a great deal against Miraak's dragon. Werebear's make fighting Frost Trolls look easy. Then again fighting a Frost Giant is worse. >.<
