i tried this, but i still cant seem to get it. its too tight , i cant do the 2nd stitch.

Sorry about the delay in replying, I'm on here and there over the summer.
hm, if you cast on too tightly then it will be difficult to get the needle into the stitches. You can try casting on very loosly, then if you get better as you continue you just run the risk of having a loose lacy botom edge on that first piece. How tight to pull everything really becomes muscle memory after you see what's too tight and what's too loose.
another thing I can think of might be if you didn't slip the first stitch off properly to the other needle. (you should have seen my first attempt xD I knitted both needles so tightly together. it was a mess) if the first stitch is still the way, the second stitch will resist with all it's might do do anything and you'll get a mess.
