Description
Decided to start posting alignment charts I've done over the years.Lawful Good: James Gordon-Naturally, being as he is the heroic cop after all, and one who is at first reluctant to accept the help of the Chaotic Good Batman, as shown by his quote.
Neutral Good: Robin-Seems less contemptuous of the law and rules than his mentor, but also doesn't seem to care overmuch about law vs. chaos one way or the other, which is text-book Neutral.
Chaotic Good: Batman-Yeah. And, given his torturing a guy via the Batmobile's wheels in Arkham Knight at one point, there are times when he veers into Chaotic Neutral. Either way, his beating up cops for getting in his way, hacking into and breaking into secure places that includes the police's HQ, the total disregard for property damage he causes in the Batmobile, and so on. While I would generally peg comic Batman as Neutral Good, Arkham Batman is this.
Lawful Neutral: Azrael-In Batman Arkham City, where he's not all that good or evil, and is also Lawful due to the fact that he is, in his own words, a "loyal servant to the Order of St. Dumas". So his being a loyal and dedicated follower of something and also being fairly neutral morality-wise makes him a pretty solid example of LN.
True Neutral: Mr. Freeze-In Batman Arkham City, where he is frankly not really that bad a guy. Yes, he tries to kill Batman...after Batman provokes him and all but threatens him. Outside of that he just wants to be left alone and saving his dying wife's life, and even helps Batman to among other things manufacture a cure for Joker's tainted blood. And, after getting Nora back for Mr. Freeze, Batman urges him to save her and stop trying to be a villain, because it's not who he is. And sure enough, come Arkham Knight he not only refuses to help Arkham Knight's men...he helps Batman again. So yeah. Really not that bad a guy.
Chaotic Neutral: Catwoman-As per usual with this character. Sometimes she helps, sometimes she hinders, and most of the time she just does what she wants.
Lawful Evil: Hugo Strange-He seeks to rid Gotham of it's criminal element in a much more brutal manner than Batman does, including creating "Arkham City", and overseeing it like a tyrannical and sadistic prison warden who also imprisons and endangers the lives of innocent civilians who dare to challenge his actions (including Bruce Wayne, who he tortures). And let's not forget his threatening to have an innocent girl murdered just to get Catwoman to talk to him.
Neutral Evil: Deadshot-Another one that is simply behaving as he normally does in the comics. Commits murder for a price and without remorse. Text-book Neutral Evil.
Chaotic Evil: The Joker-Needs no explanation.
