Description This is an alignment chart for Spider-Man based on these ones for Superman and Batman: zhar2.deviantart.com/art/Origi… and granite-m.deviantart.com/art/S…

Credit goes to ChopSilverBlood for the alignment chart sheet. Now updated.

As for the different Spideys...

Lawful Good: 616 Spider-Man, who is Lawful Good by way of among other things regularly seeking out and welcoming the assistance of the police whenever it's offered and whenever he feels he needs it, always trying to stay on the right side of the law, having extremely rigid moral principles that he refuses to compromise for anyone on any occasion, and even being willing to support Registration. Albeit, that last one caused him to shift to Lawful Neutral, but that's still alignment shifting along the Lawful axis, not shifting along both Lawful and Moral ones. He also made it clear when he renounced Iron Man that it was not because he was against working for the government or SHIELD. He was actually fine with that. It was because he saw a lack of morality in Stark's actions, not an unwillingness to be obedient.

Neutral Good: Spider-Man from the Sam Raimi films, who seemed much less concerned with whether or not he was obeying the law but still plenty concerned with being good.

Chaotic Good: Spider-Man from the Marc Webb films, who seemed to have far less faith in the authorities and less respect for them overall, what with his line of: "I think he's trying to do something that maybe the police can't". Basically, a somewhat more rebellious Spider-Man.

Lawful Neutral: Spider-Man during his time as Tony Stark's lapdog.

True Neutral: Peter Parker, who just wants to pay the bills and get the girl, not save the world

Chaotic Neutral: Spider-Man as he initially was, not yet understanding power and responsibility and just wanting to goof off with his powers.

Lawful Evil: Spider-Man in the "Bad" ending to the video game Web of Shadows, where he's taken over the symbiotes running wild through New York.

Neutral Evil: Spectacular Spider-Man when under the influence of the venom symbiote.

Chaotic Evil: The Spider, an alternate universe version of Peter Parker with the Carnage Symbiote who is every bit as bad as Cletus Kassady.

Is there a chart that doesn't neccesarally focus on a specific character but actually explains the meanings between each good to evil thing instead of just having quotes from the characters for me to interpret?

I'm fairly sure I did do alignment collages where I define the alignments. You're welcome to look at them if you wish.

-TAS spiderman, in that alignment, you think that is.?

I think that is True Neutral.

Basically because he only chased criminals, to avenge the death of his uncle.

Not sure which "Animated Series" you're talking about. The one from the 1990s cartoon seems to be as good as most other versions of Spidey. I just happen to really, really, hate that show. I know, everyone loves it, but I don't.

Chaotic Good. He's a hero, but one who operates outside of authority and also doesn't have a whole lot of faith in the police, as shown by his "I think he's trying to do something that maybe the police can't" line.

I dunno... I'd consider Registration!Spider-Man to be Lawful Evil myself. The Registration act was a lawful pursuit, but it was still wrong, Evil and stupid.

Stupid, yes. Evil? Not quite, and Spidey when Pro-Registration never did anything evil, and left after Ragnarok (Thor's clone) killed Goliath. So he's Lawful Neutral.

True, guess I'm just judging him by how all the rest of the people on the Pro-Registration side acted.

Otherwise the list is pretty good.

Though his quote as Iron Spider does show the "Stupid Neutral" aspect doesn't it?

Nice. He's not as bad as Cletus he's worse.

Thank you, though its hard to imagine that one could be "worse" than Carnage. Marvel's Joker after all.
