omg this will be so helpful thanks so much. I'm totally in over my head when it comes to cosplay... can i print this on a standard 8 x 11 sheet of paper?Β

I don't remember how I went about printing it (this was a very long time ago), but you would need to scale it based on your hand, so expect to print it more than once.Β
Good luck, let me know how it turns out

do you happen to have any other stencils? I'm very busy right now and I don't have much free time to work on the cosplay outside of my daily life (Not much room for trial and error). I've got about a week and a half...Β

Do you mean for the rest of the arm? I never made more than the glove and the forearm, never did an actual cosplay I just wanted to see if I could do this.Β
You're trying to put the whole costume in a week and a half? If you're doing Ed, you can get away with just the hand and long sleeves.Β

I was going to try for anime central, reused an old pirate costume but still had a great time

Welp never mind actually. I will not have time to make this cosplay. As much as I would like to, I know I will not have the time (nor do I want to spend money on the supplies). I'm going to use an old pirate costume because I do not have time. Thank you for your assistance though!

I didn't even think of that, yea the fingers should work for a lot of mech handed characters.Β
Let me know how that goes, Junkrat is my fave

How do you glue the finger pieces together? I plan on making one of these soon!

Splicer02 In reply to NaLuCupcakes [2015-06-04 11:25:47 +0000 UTC]

Umm it was a while ago but I think I used hot glue...Β
I cut small rectangles and glued them over the seams to hold the foam together more and that seemed to work Β
Good luck, ask me again if you need any help

Excuse me?Β

I made this from scratch in illustrator and am very careful to never even unintentionally take stuff from other peopleΒ

Can you give me a link or something rather than just accusing?Β

...
Are you serious?Β
You do understand that there aren't all that many ways you can pattern out an automail hand, right? They're going to look similar, they're the same product. My fingers are more rounded, the whole thing is even in a different format.Β

I don't know if you're joking or not?Β

If you go through my page you'll find that I very specifically say in the description even if I base something off of someone's work so do not bloody accuse me of stealing

This helps me a lot! did u use any concrete measure to print it out?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Splicer02 In reply to symphonyckuroi [2014-04-30 00:30:17 +0000 UTC]

I have no idea what you mean by "concrete measure"Β

what I did was keep printing it out, cutting it out and trying it on and then resizing and printing againΒ
Glad I could help Good luck

Ohh ok, well I'm pretty sure I scaled it so they all fit on an A4 piece, I guess if you want giant hands you could do A3 XDΒ
